Non è da tutti cimentarsi in vari ambiti e riuscirvi. Slash ci riesce nel ruolo di produttore esecutivo di “The Breach”, che uscirà il 10 Luglio in Digital Download e Blu-Ray.
Teorie del complotto, scienza e religione si abbracciano in un film thriller, che man mano si trasforma in uno splatter degli anni d’oro. Ancora una volta un film indipendente mostra alle grandi case di produzione come creare un horror senza gli infiniti mezzi di produzione e i franchise ormai storici da cui ripartire. A colpire è la solitudine che si respira grazie alle ambientazioni meticolosamente scelte per la pellicola: i boschi, il fiume, quest’infinita distesa di alberi e natura staccano i protagonisti dal mondo civilizzato, per lanciarli e lasciarli in balia dell’ignoto e dell’ “esoterismo scientifico”. Un plauso va a Slash, che incanta per la composizione della colonna sonora, fatta di distonie e virtuosismi, che aumenta l’angoscia dello spettatore.
A dirigere l’opera ci pensa Rodrigo Gudino, fondatore del magazine dedicato alla narrativa horror “Rue Morgue”, che dirige un cast composto da Allan Hawco, Natalie Brown, Emily Alatalo, Wesley French, Mary Antonini e Adam Kenneth Wilson. Nel cast compare anche Alex Lifeson, chittarista dei Rush, con un cameo simpatico nei panni di un complottista.
L’opera è ispirata al romanzo “The Troop” di Nick Cutter (pseudonimo dello scrittore canadese Craig Davidson). Nel film il protagonista John Hawkins trascorre gli ultimi giorni come Capo della Polizia nella cittadina di Lone Crow, investigando su un ultimo caso quando un corpo dilaniato viene ritrovato lungo le rive del Porcupine River.
“The Breach” uscirà il 10 Luglio in Digital Download e Blu-Ray, il consiglio è di non perdervelo.

“THE BREACH”: THE FILM PRODUCED BY SLASH GOT PROMOTED
It is not for everyone to try in various areas and succeed. Slash succeeds in the role of executive producer of “The Breach”, which will be released on July 10 in Digital Download and Blu-Ray.
Conspiracy theories, science and religion are embraced in a thriller film, which gradually turns into a splatter of the golden years. Once again an independent film shows the big production companies how to create a horror without the infinite means of production and the now historical franchises from which to start. What strikes is the solitude that you breathe thanks to the settings meticulously chosen for the film: the woods, the river, this endless expanse of trees and nature detach the protagonists from the civilized world, to launch them and leave them at the mercy of the unknown and the “scientific esotericism”. A praise goes to Slash, who enchants for the composition of the soundtrack, made of dystonia and virtuosity, which increases the anguish of the viewer.
Rodrigo Gudino, founder of the horror fiction magazine “Rue Morgue”, directs a cast composed of Allan Hawco, Natalie Brown, Emily Alatalo, Wesley French, Mary Antonini and Adam Kenneth Wilson. The cast also features Alex Lifeson, Rush’s chittarist, with a sympathetic cameo as a conspiracy theorist.
